Out in the world like dogs we shine,
to make the love and peace twine.
Out in the open we mark the days,
when the flags fly high and the tree sways.
Out on the fields we make hay fly,
showing the world how even a single piece can try.
Out in the bushes we hide our pain,
for tomorrow we shrug it off and say with a smile
"Hey again!"

I think you're taking about that energy which allows us to get back on our feet even though we're sunk like the Titanic ship. Unless, of course, you had some other hidden agenda behind these words. Wait. Is that your kid?
nearly there... and don't get the kid involved here... :P
I did enjoy the bit where this poem reminded me of an early morning sunrise. The part that went something like "Hey again!" and also, I've sent the kids home.
